About Cathy

Cathy's superpower is communication. She can speak with anyone, about
anything at any time in any place. And she does. More importantly she
teaches her clients how to do the same. Her sweet spot - anyone facing a
big transition. Whether career/personal growth, complete life change or
just feeling like something's gotta shift.

A graduate of Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, Cathy spent 22
years in Silicon Valley in public relations, event curation, and business
development. In 2012 she turned a life-long passion for canine behavior
to a career, opening The Hydrant Club in Las Vegas, NV.

Through this work, Cathy realized she could transform the way people
communicate with each other using the the dog-human relationship.

Her programs deconstruct and rebuild clients’ communication on three pillars - individual/personal communication; group dynamics
and facilitation; and conflict resolution. This pillars also create a powerful foundation for helping clients
find a new path (work, career, relationship), get clear on their vision, and
make that vision happen.

When she’s not educating dogs and humans about communication, serving as media expert on animal welfare topics, or public speaking, Cathy is an avid ice hockey fan (Go Vegas Golden Knights), loves classical music and spends time in the recording booth of Whispering Dog Studios – her voiceover business.
